THE FITTIE COMMITTEE

Disclaimer: This is a body positive blog. All bodies and BBLS are welcomed.

He said, “Think Big Bitch” Not Get Big Bitch!

We are not here to shame big backs, legs, hips, or bodiessss. The truth is we are all stepping into a new era, and I gathered everyone here today to lay out some harsh truths.

Say it with me “Discipline will lead me to Self-Fulfillment”

“We have to maintain what we have”

As we age, it is inevitable that our bodies will begin to change. I hate to say this but somebody gotta say it…..

Get y’all ass in the gym man.

YES, YOU!

Moving our bodies is VITAL.

Discipline is not something you are born with.

It’s somewhat like a muscle that has to be WORKED. We have to begin doing the things we don’t want to do in order we reach our goals and change our livelihood.

Motivation just won’t do it. Motivation produces emotion, but discipline produces results.

25% of people buy a gym membership and never go.

What else are you investing in that you don’t have time, money or energy to invest in your physical and mental health?

I’ll give y’all a second to think about it.

You spend your money and time on bottomless brunch, 45mm lashes, seafood boils, Barracat, HBOMAX, and some more shit.

But letting your membership, muscles, and mind be your last priority.

interesting.

Y’all thought y’all came here for a workout plan, but honey we have to start with awareness.

We know it all starts with a mindset. Begin telling yourself “I love exercising” “I am so healthy and fit” “I love disciplining my physical & mental habits”

We don’t want to be those folks that lets life pass them by, as we spread & spread & spread & spread & spread & spread & spread & spread & spread while losing track of time.

We all need some room to grow.

How committed are you to living a healthy long life?

Too often people believe the gym is solely for having a snatched waist, thick thighs, and a defined back but it’s really so we can have stamina while riding dick.

HEHE.

Hitting the gym (or any exercise) is not only for body goals. Of course, we all want to look good and show off our physical achievements. But, what we are more concerned with is the underlying benefits of discipline and the benefits from maintaining healthy habits.

And if you can’t join a gym for personal, mental, or physical reasons, do as much as you can to move & stretch your body.

But you able body bitches have no excuse.

Benefits of a lifestyle workout routine:

  1. Improve creativity

  2. Help you sleep better

  3. Give you more confidence

  4. Improves fertility, posture, & skin

  5. Increase your energy

  6. Make your DNA younger

  7. Reduce stress

  8. Strengthen your joints

  9. Support your eye health

And these are just to name a few.

Being intentional with your health is an ode to loving on yourself. Self-Love is extending yourself for the purpose of nurturing yourself, is that not discipline as well?

Once you value yourself, you value your time. And how are you spending your time? With who & doing what? Do you bitches want to look & feel good or not?

I truly just want everybody to

It’s hard, I know. But that’s life.

Discipline is going beyond the pursuit of pleasure and having intentional power over yourself.Create a sense of urgency for yourself and get ready to form new habits!

Discipline is a collaborative of four main components:
  1. Delaying Gratification

  2. Acceptance of responsibility - Stop being a victim to your own responsibility

  3. Dedication to Truth

  4. Balance & Flexibility

We all want to exercise one time and look like Teyana Taylor in the Faded music video or is that just me?

Discipline is more than exercising. It’s how disciplined we are with prioritizing and loving ourselves, our friends, our families. How much are we pouring into our businesses, passions, and purposes.

Love is an intentional commitment just like discipline.

Diamond’s Dosage Workout Plan:

Below is a little wrap around of a few of my favorite exercise sets & routine.

  1. Stair-master: 10 mins - 15mins (helps with fat loss & glutes)

  2. Glutes- (Hip thrusts, squats, step ups, rdls)

  3. Abs (bicycles, Russian twists, crunches, planks)

  4. Back (back extensions, superman, one arm dumbbell row)

  5. Kegels (squeeze your coochie walls any chance you get)

  6. Input Rest & Recovery days.

Adding Cardio to the end of your routine helps with muscle growth and I always drink a protein shake after working out!

So ladies,

Make the body, Don’t let it make you. Take care of yourself and put health and habits first.

The girls are getting fit for the summer, don’t be on the sidelines watching.
